Meet Patty
My passion for exploring the world started early, as my parents loved to travel. My first trip abroad was to New Zealand, where my father planned the entire trip with paper maps! These early experiences instilled a love of new cultures, experiences, and exploration. Since then, I’ve traveled the world from the Galapagos Islands, to Japan, to Turkey. This passion makes me so excited to work with you.
My love for travel is one of the reasons I became a travel advisor. But what makes me ideal for this role? Prior to founding Patty Winckler Travel, I spent two decades managing executive programs and strategy in high tech. These experiences make me an exceptional planner – from seeing your trip vision to thoughtfully designing every meaningful moment.
Every trip has a feeling, from conception to flying home. I design and create journeys that deliver these feelings – deeply personal, highly elevated and exceptionally planned.

Patty's Favorites

Istanbul
Turkey's people, culture, and history truly touch you. You can envision the Roman chariots at the Hippodrome, marvel at the design of the underground Basilica Cistern built in the 6th century, and visualize Ottoman Empire sultan rulers in stunning palace properties along the Bosphorus.

Lake Como
Lake Como's lush green hillsides give way to stunning layers of mountains making this truly a gorgeous place to be. In contrast, Como town itself is bustling, busy, and a crowded tourist area. Nestled within Como are fun areas to shop, traditional Italian structures, and darling cafes.

Sardinia
Some of the most beautiful waters in the world exist between Sardinia and Corsica in the La Maddelena Archipelago. This coastal sea is the most gorgeous shade of turquoise. I recommend experiencing this area on a sailboat with Italian hosts sharing amazing bruschetta and linguine with muscles!
